This privacy policy will explain how we use the personal data we collect from you when you provide any information to us.
What data do we collect?
We collect the following data:
- Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number, etc.)
- Confirmation of UK tax status
- Driving licence and passport information
How do we collect your data?
You directly provide us with the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
- Register online for Gift Aid.
- Volunteer to be a driver or part of any funded or self-funded mission.
How will we use your data?
We collect your data so that we can:
- Process your direct donations to receive gift aid.
- Facilitate missions, such as booking insurance, crossings, flights etc. as required to complete a mission.
How do we store your data?
Once received and processed, we securely store your data with a secure third-party data storage provider
We will keep Gift Aid for the current financial calendar year and for the purposes of financial reporting after the end of the financial year. We will keep volunteer driver information for no more than 12 months or until you wish to be removed from our driver database. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data.
What are your data protection rights?
We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
- The right to access – You have the right to request Help4Ukraine for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
- The right to rectification – You have the right to request that Help4Ukraine correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Our Company to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
- The right to erasure – You have the right to request that Help4Ukraine erase your personal data under certain conditions.
- The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that Help4Ukraine restrict the processing of your personal data under certain conditions.
- The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to Help4Ukraine processing of your personal data under certain conditions.
- The right to data portability – You have the right to request that Help4Ukraine transfer the data that we have collected to another organisation, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
